Topics

  1. The role of feedback in intrinsic motivation: Discover how well-delivered feedback supports mastery and belonging.
  2. Feedback preferences: Learn how individuals differ in how they want to receive feedback, and how to adapt your approach accordingly.
  3. Triggers: Understand what makes feedback hard to hear or give, and how to self-regulate.
  4. Giving and receiving feedback: Practice specific techniques for delivering feedback clearly and constructively (and for taking it in without defensiveness).
  5. Types of feedback: Distinguish between evaluation, advice, and appreciation (and know when and how to use each one effectively).
